Evolutionary Algorithm

Evolutionary Algorithm is a way to help computers find good design solutions by copying how nature changes things over time. In parametric design, this means the computer can quickly test many different shapes and sizes for a building or object, changing small details each time, and keeping the ones that work best for the goal, like saving energy or using less material. Designers use this method to let the computer suggest new forms that might be hard to imagine by hand, making the design process faster and more creative.

parametric optimization, generative design, design automation, digital morphogenesis, adaptive architecture
