Enso Table

Enso Table

Enso Table is an award-winning minimalist furniture design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of Japanese aesthetic principles with contemporary functional design. Named after the Zen Buddhist concept of 'enso' (the hand-drawn circle symbolizing enlightenment), this innovative table design features a unique structural composition that creates varying visual perspectives from different angles. The table's distinctive design employs two meticulously shaped legs that support a circular top through a sophisticated balance system, achieved through carefully milled notches in the table's underside. Crafted from birch plywood with premium oak and walnut veneer finishing, the table demonstrates exceptional attention to material sustainability, utilizing wood sourced from responsibly managed forests with FSC and PEFC certifications. Available in two dimensions - 57cm diameter with 38cm height, and 68cm diameter with 45cm height - the Enso Table represents a breakthrough in minimalist furniture design, earning recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category. The design's most compelling feature lies in its ability to create dynamic visual interactions within interior spaces, encouraging viewers to explore its changing compositions from multiple angles. This interactive quality, combined with its structural innovation and sustainable materials, positions the Enso Table as a significant contribution to contemporary furniture design, exemplifying how functional furniture can simultaneously serve as an engaging piece of abstract art while maintaining practical utility.
