Encounter Montmartre Residential
Encounter Montmartre Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of French artistic sensibilities with contemporary living spaces. Located in Taipei, Taiwan, this 63-ping (approximately 208 square meters) residential space masterfully incorporates design elements inspired by the historic Montmartre district of Paris, renowned for its artistic heritage and cultural significance. The interior architecture demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its innovative open-end design methodology, seamlessly integrating living, dining, and kitchen areas while maximizing natural illumination through strategic double-sided lighting. The design philosophy embraces a sophisticated material palette featuring stable wooden tones, light gray finishes, and beige hues, creating a warm yet refined atmosphere. Notable design elements include rounded wooden cabinets at the entryway, carefully positioned display units, and wooden gratings that enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The project, completed in 2021, showcases remarkable attention to detail in its selection of premium materials, including imported kitchenware, specialized lighting fixtures, and high-quality marble surfaces. The private areas feature vibrant color accents that symbolize life's creative inspirations, while the public spaces maintain a delicate balance between luxury and comfort through thoughtfully implemented orange accents and modeling lighting. This residential design, which earned an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully overcame initial structural challenges through meticulous floor leveling and comprehensive spatial planning, resulting in a seamless integration of form and function that reflects both European artistic heritage and modern living requirements.
