EN Skincare Salon and Store is an innovative retail and wellness establishment located in Paris's 6th arrondissement, representing a sophisticated fusion of Japanese aesthetics and French architectural heritage. Occupying a historic 18th-century building spanning 150 square meters, this platinum A' Design Award-winning interior design project masterfully integrates contemporary Japanese design principles with classical French architecture. The space is thoughtfully divided into four distinct rooms across two levels, featuring a ground floor characterized by minimalist white spaces and a basement that preserves the building's original stone walls and vaulted ceilings. The design's cornerstone element consists of circular brass partitions, which not only serve as functional space dividers but also embody the multiple meanings of the Japanese word En - beauty, circle, and connection. These polished brass installations create warm, distorted reflections throughout the space, establishing an elegant atmosphere while guiding visitors through a carefully choreographed journey reminiscent of traditional Japanese hospitality principles. The layout encompasses specialized areas including a boutique entrance, counseling and treatment spaces, massage facilities, and a product gallery with a blending counter, all interconnected through an intentionally winding circulation pattern that encourages discovery and anticipation, reflecting the sophisticated principles of Japanese tea ceremony traditions.
