Emotional Palette
Emotional Palette is a term in color theory that refers to a set of colors chosen to create a specific emotional response in a design. Each color in the palette is picked for its psychological effect, such as calmness from blue or energy from red. Designers often use scientific studies about how people react to colors to build these palettes. For example, a warm palette with reds and yellows can make a space feel welcoming, while cool palettes with blues and greens can make it feel peaceful. Recent research shows that the brightness and saturation of a color can change how strong the emotional reaction is, so a bright yellow feels more cheerful than a pale yellow. Designers use this knowledge to fine-tune the mood of a project, making Emotional Palette a practical tool in color selection.
