Elegance Residence

Elegance Residence

Elegance Residence is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies minimalist sophistication through its thoughtful spatial organization and monochromatic color scheme. Located in Taiwan, this 152-square-meter apartment seamlessly integrates social and private spaces through a carefully planned layout encompassing three bedrooms, a living room, dining area, and three bathrooms. The design philosophy centers on creating an orderly living rhythm through meticulous attention to lighting, circulation, and color coordination, utilizing a refined palette of black, white, and gray tones. The project's distinctive features include a sophisticated foyer that transitions into an open-plan living area, an island-style furniture arrangement that defines distinct functional zones while maintaining fluid circulation, and a master bedroom suite with a carefully curated dressing room finished in warm, earthy mineral paint tones. The interior showcases premium materials including PanDOMO flooring, sandblasted glass, wood veneer, and custom system cabinets, all orchestrated to create subtle textural depth and visual interest. Designed by Po Chuan Kao, the project earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, highlighting its excellence in spatial innovation and aesthetic refinement. The design successfully addresses the challenge of creating a space that is simultaneously sleek and substantive, incorporating practical storage solutions and multi-functional areas while maintaining an elegant, uncluttered atmosphere. Notable elements include a children's room with an innovative Lego-inspired continuous desk-bed storage system and a multi-functional audio-visual room that doubles as a guest suite.
