Elegance House Residential Apartment

Elegance House Residential Apartment

Elegance House Residential Apartment is an award-winning residential interior design project completed in 2020 in Taipei City, exemplifying a sophisticated fusion of classical elements with contemporary design sensibilities. The 77-square-meter apartment encompasses an entryway, living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, dressing room, two restrooms, and storage spaces, masterfully designed by Chia-Lun Chan. The design's distinctive aesthetic is inspired by natural ripple patterns, which are thoughtfully incorporated into the cabinet work and roof details, creating a harmonious flow throughout the space. The interior features exquisite white wood veneers on door panels that showcase classical curves, complemented by innovative metallic spray finishes on the roof that replace traditional moldings. The project's sophisticated material palette includes black and beige marble pavements in the hallway, brown glass, and mirrors in the display cabinet, while rose gold accents enhance the elegant curves throughout the space. The design demonstrates exceptional space optimization through features such as a strategically placed dwarf wall between the living and dining areas, maintaining visual continuity while defining distinct functional zones. Notable elements include a multifunctional vanity in the master bedroom that integrates air-conditioning, LED lighting, and storage for skincare products. The project, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2021, represents a significant achievement in contemporary residential design, successfully balancing luxurious aesthetics with practical functionality while maintaining a sophisticated and timeless appeal.
