Duo Yun Xuan Art Center Coworking Space is an innovative architectural interior design project that masterfully reimagines a contemporary workspace through the lens of Bauhaus principles, created to commemorate the movement's centennial anniversary. Located in Shanghai's Xuhui District, this approximately 9,000-square-meter facility represents a sophisticated interpretation of modern coworking environments, where artistic expression harmoniously merges with functional workspace design. The concept draws inspiration from the Chinese term Duo Yun (meaning cloud), which has been abstractly translated into curvilinear forms distributed across different levels, effectively delineating functional zones while creating dedicated spaces for artistic activities. The design employs a strategic use of primary colors and geometric abstraction, paying homage to Bauhaus principles while establishing a distinctly contemporary aesthetic. Notable features include a dramatic underground atrium enhanced by red aluminum perforated panels that create striking contrast against dark backgrounds, multifunctional leisure spaces that transcend traditional office environments, and thoughtfully integrated volumes that facilitate organic circulation patterns.
