Dream of Blue Alchohol is an innovative packaging design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary design sensibilities. This distinguished alcoholic beverage packaging, created by a team of designers in China, showcases exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship through its sophisticated implementation of both traditional and modern elements. The design features an outer packaging crafted from wood grain handmade paper, complemented by a bottle adorned with champagne gold plating process and hand-crafted seal stickers. The incorporation of anti-counterfeiting ink and banknote anti-counterfeit technology demonstrates the design's commitment to security and authenticity. With dimensions of 135cm×120cm×33cm, the packaging presents a substantial presence while maintaining elegant proportions. The design's bottom section is enhanced with relief decoration, adding a tactile dimension that reinforces its artisanal character. This sophisticated packaging solution, developed between September and December 2016, represents a significant achievement in modern Chinese design aesthetics, particularly in its approach to traditional spirits packaging. The project successfully overcame material selection challenges through extensive research and consultation with manufacturing experts, ultimately achieving an optimal balance between visual appeal and functional requirements. The design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach and excellence in craftsmanship.
