Dragon Intelligent Learning Furniture is an innovative children's study furniture system that combines ergonomic design principles with smart technology to create an optimal learning environment for young students. Developed through extensive research and design iteration from 2019 to 2020 by a team led by Wang Zhuo in collaboration with Chen Jun, Lin Yutong, Liu Yutong, and Cui Xinyue, this intelligent furniture solution addresses the evolving needs of modern educational spaces. The system features an electronically adjustable desk and chair combination with dimensions of 1155mm x 700mm x 930mm, incorporating advanced height adjustment mechanisms and a tiltable desktop surface to accommodate various learning activities such as writing, drawing, and reading. The design employs sophisticated wood bending technology in its construction, while integrating smart features including an intelligent picture book reader and an adaptive desk lamp that automatically adjusts brightness and color temperature based on ambient lighting conditions. Notable features include multi-layer bookshelves and horizontal storage components that maximize space utilization, while the intelligent controller enables seamless adjustment of the furniture's configuration. This innovative approach to children's furniture design earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving an Iron A' Design Award in the Baby, Kids and Children's Products Design category in 2021, acknowledging its contribution to advancing children's learning environments through thoughtful integration of technology and ergonomic design principles. The furniture system represents a significant advancement in educational furniture design, particularly in its ability to adapt to children's physical growth while supporting various learning activities through its intelligent features.
