dip corporation office Office is an innovative workplace design project located on the 31st floor in Roppongi, Tokyo, completed in March 2017, encompassing 3,239 square meters of thoughtfully crafted space. This sophisticated interior design project, created by Taiju Yamashita and Wataru Matsunaga, embodies the principles of dream, idea, and passion, which form the cornerstone of its conceptual framework. The design's primary objective is to enhance communication and foster collaborative thinking among employees while accommodating numerous daily visitor meetings through strategically placed conference rooms of varying sizes. The space features distinctive elements including a futuristic reception area with dynamic linear LED lighting, glass flooring incorporating white-painted obsolete electronics, and window-adjacent meeting booths that maximize the panoramic views. The interior's material palette combines wood grain porcelain tiles with stone tiles, while diagonal black beams and intersecting LED light patterns create an energetic atmosphere. The design responds to contemporary workplace needs with comprehensive technological integration, featuring monitors and screens in all meeting spaces, supported by wireless connectivity to enhance work efficiency and reduce paper consumption. Notable design elements include neon corporate philosophy signage that reinforces organizational values and employee engagement. The project, which garnered a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, emerged from extensive research involving a web-based survey of 326 employees, addressing various aspects of facility management and workplace satisfaction. This award-winning design successfully balances aesthetic innovation with practical functionality, creating a workspace that promotes creativity and corporate culture while maintaining operational efficiency.
