Dining On 54 Multifunctional Space

Dining On 54 Multifunctional Space

Dining on 54 Multifunctional Space is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of natural elements with contemporary luxury in residential spaces. Located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, this sophisticated multifunctional space draws its primary inspiration from Mount Kinabalu, Northern Borneo's iconic landmark, incorporating natural rock elements from the mountain itself into its feature wall design. The space, measuring 8270mm in width, 7200mm in depth, and 4000mm in height, masterfully combines earth-toned color palettes with premium materials to create an atmosphere of warmth and serenity. The design's distinctive features include a dramatically illuminated natural rock wall, chevron wooden textures, and gold stainless steel inlay details that create visual continuity throughout the space. The bronze ceiling design, finished with spray paint coating and enhanced by hanging features and topographical elements, adds a striking architectural dimension to the interior. The space serves multiple functions, accommodating various social activities from formal dining to casual gatherings, movie watching, and board game sessions. The thoughtful integration of leather furnishings and gold finishing elements symbolizes luxury while maintaining a connection to the natural environment through full-height glass windows that frame the dawn landscape. This innovative design, which was completed in 2022, earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial design and material selection.
