Dialogue Between Time And Space Interior Design

Dialogue Between Time And Space Interior Design

Dialogue Between Time and Space Interior Design is an award-winning architectural interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of temporal and spatial elements within residential spaces. Located in western Taipei, this sophisticated design intervention transforms a residential lobby into a contemplative environment that celebrates the intersection of urban living and natural elements. The project, conceived by designer Yi-Chun Pan, masterfully employs a carefully curated palette of materials including hand-chiseled reddish-purple tiles, embossed balcony glass, elegant gray granite, and wooden elements to create an architectural narrative that speaks to the passage of time. The design's distinctive features include a thoughtfully crafted concave balcony system with three-sided window configurations that foster visual connectivity between family members, while translucent glass railings create an inviting transition to outdoor spaces. Spanning 726 square meters, the project achieves technical excellence through sustainable design solutions, incorporating multilayer hollow exterior walls for improved thermal efficiency and adaptable mechanical systems that ensure long-term durability. The design's response to its context is particularly noteworthy, as it draws inspiration from the adjacent Jilin Elementary School's verdant canopy, introducing rare urban greenery into the spatial experience. This project, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in combining functional innovation with aesthetic refinement, creating a timeless environment that responds sensitively to both human needs and environmental considerations.
