Design Of Video Intercom Apparatus
A video intercom apparatus is an electronic communication device used in homes and buildings for two-way video and audio transmission between people at different locations. It allows individuals to visually and audibly communicate with others before granting them access, which enhances security measures. To design a good video intercom apparatus, the following criteria should be considered: 1. Video and Audio Quality: The apparatus should have high video and audio quality to allow clear communication during day and night. It should have a minimum 720p HD resolution and noise cancellation technology to prevent echoes and distortions. 2. Wide Angle Lens: The video camera should have a wide-angle lens to allow better visibility of the outside area. It should cover at least 120 degrees to give a panoramic view. 3. Motion Detection: The apparatus should be equipped with motion detection technology to alert the occupants whenever there is a movement outside. This extra security feature ensures safety, especially in the case of uninvited visitors. 4. Night Vision: The apparatus should include infrared technology that enables clear images and video at night or in low light conditions. 5. Intercom Functionality: The apparatus should have a clear two-way audio communication system to allow proper communique between the occupant and the visitor. A quality video intercom apparatus should meet these criteria, providing full functionality with advanced features that complement and enhance the security measures of a building or compound.
