Design Of Easel Pads

An easel pad, also known as a flip chart pad, is a large pad of paper that is supported by an easel and is commonly used in offices, classrooms, and brainstorming sessions. The pad usually has a sticky adhesive on the back enabling the user to stick the paper on the wall for boardroom presentations. To design an easel pad, there are certain criteria that must be considered to ensure the product is effective and efficient. Firstly, the size of the pad should be designed taking into account the average distance between the audience and the presenter, so that the letters are readable from a distance. Secondly, the paper quality should be able to withstand smudging and tearing while also ensuring that marker ink does not leak through and ruin the succeeding page. The adhesive quality must ensure that sheets remain in place when mounted on the wall during presentations. The pad must also be made with easily removable sheets (preferably perforated), making it easy for the presenter to tear them off and rearrange as needed. The colour of the paper should be light enough for dark marker colours to show up and dark enough for light marker colours to show up. Furthermore, the design of the easel pad itself should also be considered. The easel support should be sturdy enough to support the weight of the pad, while also being adjustable to suit the height of the presenter. An added feature such as a foldable mechanism for easy transportation and storage could also be incorporated into the design. In summary, the design of an easel pad should be made with the user's needs and requirements in mind. Attention to details such as size, paper quality, adhesive quality, colour, easel sturdiness, and additional features such as a foldable mechanism must be taken into consideration.
