Dental Floss
Dental floss is a thin, flexible cord made of nylon or other synthetic materials that is used to remove food particles and plaque from between teeth. It is an important part of oral hygiene and is recommended by dentists as a way to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Dental floss comes in a variety of types, including waxed and unwaxed, flavored and unflavored, and in different thicknesses. To use dental floss, a length of floss is wrapped around the fingers and gently inserted between the teeth. The floss is then moved back and forth in a sawing motion to remove any debris. It is important to be gentle when using dental floss to avoid injuring the gums. Regular use of dental floss can help prevent the buildup of plaque and tartar, which can lead to tooth decay and gum disease. It can also help freshen breath by removing food particles that can cause bad breath.
