Danh Võ is one of the most influential and innovative contemporary artists of our time. Through his works, he is able to create a thoughtful dialogue between history, identity and globalization, in a way that is able to reach a wide range of audiences. Utilizing found objects, Võ is able to compose poignant installations that bring attention to the loss of culture, reinterpretation of history, and the relationship between East and West. His works, such as ‘We the People’ (2011-17) have been widely recognized and celebrated in exhibitions and collections around the world.
