Cyan Valley Villa

Cyan Valley Villa

Cyan Valley Villa is an award-winning interior design project located in Dapeng, Shenzhen, China, completed in December 2019, encompassing 729 square meters of thoughtfully crafted space that harmoniously integrates with its coastal surroundings. Designed by Rui Ning and Zhou Cheng, this sophisticated sales center situated on the eighth floor exemplifies a minimalist approach that celebrates the natural beauty of Dapeng Bay, one of China's most scenic coastal areas. The design philosophy emphasizes a deliberate reduction of excessive elements, employing a blank canvas approach to mirror the vastness and purity of the adjacent seascape. The interior architecture features extensive use of French windows that maximize natural illumination, while wooden screens extending from floor to ceiling create intimate spatial divisions. The color palette is dominated by warm beige and wood tones, complemented by carefully selected natural materials that evoke a sense of residential comfort. Notable design elements include a distinctive film and television hall characterized by dark aesthetics and black walls, creating an immersive starlit atmosphere when illuminated. The project's innovative use of materials, including wood grid partitions and mirror surfaces, serves both functional and aesthetic purposes, while maintaining privacy and creating visual connections to the maritime environment. The design earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its exceptional integration of natural elements, innovative space utilization, and human-centric design approach that successfully transforms a commercial space into a welcoming, home-like environment.
