Cube Plant Pot And Rack

Cube Plant Pot And Rack is an innovative home gardening solution that exemplifies sustainable design principles through its modular construction and environmentally conscious material selection. This sophisticated plant display system, designed by Tinner Wong and recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design category, features a harmonious combination of premium black walnut wood construction and matte black metal joints, complemented by an imitation cement pot crafted from recycled materials. The design's distinctive floating pot aesthetic creates a compelling visual element while maintaining functional versatility, measuring 200mm in width, depth, and height for the rack component, with the pot itself featuring a 150mm diameter and height. The product's development, which commenced in early 2021 and culminated in its market introduction in February 2023, represents a significant advancement in sustainable home product design, particularly in addressing the critical issue of waste reduction in consumer goods. The design philosophy centers on three environmental pillars: function, life, and circulation, manifesting through enhanced product flexibility, superior durability, and the use of recyclable materials. The innovative modular approach not only facilitates product range expansion but also significantly reduces potential waste from unsold inventory, while the careful material selection of black walnut wood and reinforced metal joints ensures long-term durability and aesthetic appeal, making it an exemplary piece of sustainable design that enhances any interior space.
