CTS Chengdu Ocean Spring Sales Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project completed in 2018, embodying a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and traditional Chinese cultural elements. Located in the hinterland of White Horse Lake, this 3,500-square-meter facility features a distinctive two-floor structure surrounded by water, employing a multilayer retreat architecture and panoramic glass curtain walls that create a seamless connection with its natural environment. The design, conceived by Raynon Chiu and team, draws inspiration from the Shu Mountain Traveling Map and traditional Chinese garden aesthetics, incorporating elements of clouds, mountains, water, and stone in its interior composition. The facility's first floor functions as a multifunctional club space, housing reading areas, fitness facilities, parent-child interaction zones, and catering services, while the second floor serves as a dedicated business center with sand tray model areas, negotiation spaces, and signing zones. The project's design philosophy adheres to the principle that interior design should be an extension of architectural design, minimizing excessive decorative elements in favor of a more integrated approach that harmonizes with the surrounding environment. The building's innovative design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully addresses the challenging terrain through its close-water construction method, creating an immersive experience where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Longquan Mountains and the North River scenery, effectively realizing the traditional Chinese concept of Sit here and see all things.
