Creteleon Bottle

Creteleon Bottle

creteleon Bottle is an award-winning packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of form and function in contemporary olive oil packaging. Created by Cypriot designer Tasos Polydorou, this sophisticated vessel houses premium organic extra virgin olive oil produced on the island of Crete, representing a four-generation legacy of olive oil craftsmanship. The design, completed in 2013, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its conceptualization and execution, featuring a distinctive label design that both showcases and protects the bottle's contents. The packaging solution brilliantly balances aesthetic appeal with practical functionality, employing clean lines and minimalist elements to communicate the product's premium positioning and organic heritage. This innovative design approach earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing packaging design standards. The bottle design serves as a testament to the evolution of packaging design in the premium food sector, where the vessel becomes an integral part of the product experience. Its thoughtful design elements not only protect the precious olive oil within but also serve as a visual narrative of the brand's commitment to quality and organic processes, effectively bridging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities.
