Crafty Art Residence

Crafty Art Residence

Crafty Art Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of neo-classical artistry with modern luxury aesthetics. Located in Taiwan and completed in December 2021, this 158-square-meter space masterfully integrates sophisticated design elements across four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, and a dining room. The design, conceived by Yi-Hsuan Chen, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning with particular emphasis on entertaining and hospitality functions. The project's distinctive features include a jade-adorned television wall that creates dynamic visual effects through light interaction, complementing a statement fireplace. The interior employs a refined color palette dominated by white and olive green, enhanced by strategic material selections including marble flooring at the entrance adorned with geometric copper detailing, beveled wood flooring in living spaces, and unique hexagonal parquet in the study area. Notable design elements include a master bedroom featuring luxurious gold leaf stacking treatments, an innovative acrylic bookcase system with adjustable latches, and carefully curated abstract artworks that enhance the gallery-like atmosphere. The project successfully addresses spatial challenges through intelligent ceiling treatments and piping reorganization, creating an enhanced sense of volume particularly in the public areas. The design's thoughtful consideration of functionality is evident in the enclosed kitchen layout, catering to the client's entertainment needs while maintaining aesthetic coherence. This exceptional residential project was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to contemporary residential design.
