Corner Paradise Interior Design
Corner Paradise Interior Design is an innovative residential architectural project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of urban living with natural elements, completed between 2013-2017 in Chiayi City, Taiwan. This sophisticated three-floor cubic building, designed by architect Fabio Su, presents a remarkable solution to the challenges of corner lot construction in high-traffic urban environments by incorporating an interior landscape concept. The design's distinctive feature is its bold approach to privacy and tranquility, achieved through strategic window placement and the innovative relocation of traditional front and back yards into an interior atrium complete with greenery and a water landscape. The structure, encompassing 780 square meters of internal floor space on a 484-square-meter lot, demonstrates exceptional material selection including fair-faced concrete, natural rock sheets, granite wall stones, and sustainable wood elements. The interior program thoughtfully incorporates multiple functional spaces including a swimming pool, living areas, video room, meeting facilities, and four bedrooms, all designed with user-centric considerations such as carefully positioned indirect lighting and acoustic optimization. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases a masterful balance between contemporary architectural aesthetics and practical spatial planning, while addressing modern urban challenges through innovative design solutions. The design's emphasis on privacy and natural elements, combined with its sophisticated integration of smart home technologies and sustainable materials, represents a significant achievement in contemporary residential architecture.
