Contemporary Relaxed Home Garden
Contemporary Relaxed Home Garden is an innovative landscape design project that exemplifies modern garden architecture through its sophisticated integration of functional spaces and aesthetic elements. This meticulously crafted urban oasis, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Landscape Planning and Garden Design category, encompasses a 3,606.1 square meter area that harmoniously combines contemporary design principles with sustainable practices. The garden's design philosophy centers on creating tranquility amid urban environments, utilizing small elements and shaped trees for noise isolation while maintaining unique, balanced spaces. The project features a comprehensive design approach incorporating a wide gray concrete staircase, a specially designed gas fireplace, and a central pool area, all unified by clean lawn planes and a thoughtful balance of evergreens with perennials. The garden's technical sophistication is evident in its smart home integration, featuring automatic irrigation, app-controlled outdoor speakers, and photovoltaic panels for pool heating. Environmental consciousness is demonstrated through rainwater harvesting systems and sustainable maintenance solutions, including robotic lawn maintenance. The design addresses complex terrain challenges through sophisticated drainage systems and innovative use of aluminum pots on concrete foundations, while fiberglass walls ensure privacy and create intimate spaces. The garden's aesthetic appeal is enhanced by the careful composition of rectangular lawns, dynamic concrete and planked pathways, and a consistent color palette that unifies the entire space. This award-winning design, completed in 2023 in Wloclawek, Poland, represents a significant achievement in contemporary landscape architecture, demonstrating how modern gardens can successfully balance aesthetic beauty with practical functionality while incorporating sustainable design principles.
