Concrete Extrusion
Concrete Extrusion is a method in additive manufacturing where a nozzle moves in layers to shape wet concrete into complex forms. This process lets designers make curved walls, hollow structures, and custom surface textures in one continuous build. The mix used for extrusion often contains special fibers or additives to help the concrete flow smoothly and set up quickly, which helps keep the printed shapes stable as they are made. Designers can use this method to create unique patterns and even include spaces for wiring or plumbing directly in the structure, which can save time during construction.
