Come True Coffee Shop
Come True Coffee Shop is an innovative retail interior design project located in the bustling Zhongxiao East Road of Taipei, conceptualized and executed by designer Hui Hsin Cheng in collaboration with Lin Wan Ju. This 50.5-square-meter establishment represents a sophisticated interpretation of contemporary coffee culture, distinguished by its unique architectural elements and thoughtful spatial organization. The design philosophy centers on creating an unstandardized dining space that allows patrons to discover their preferred corners according to their individual behavioral patterns. The interior features a striking ceiling design composed of golden light strips interwoven with blue mesh panels and triangular surfaces, creating an abstract representation of birds soaring through an African sunset. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional attention to atmospheric detail, utilizing scattered light patterns that penetrate through carefully designed stencils to create an elegant, romantic ambiance. The establishment's social enterprise model dedicates half of its profits to the African Clean Water Project, reflecting this commitment through its sophisticated African-inspired design elements. The space incorporates flowing C-shaped lines in its facade and modeling bar table, symbolizing the brand name while facilitating customer interaction. The interior's color palette combines gold and dark tones to exude understated luxury, while the innovative lighting design creates scattered dots of light reminiscent of natural foliage, effectively merging modern design elements with African natural motifs.
