Cola Food Delivery Robot
Cola Food Delivery Robot is an innovative autonomous service robot designed for indoor environments such as hotels, restaurants, and commercial spaces, representing a significant advancement in hospitality automation technology. The robot features a distinctive design inspired by the chess piece Rook, incorporating a cylindrical form factor with a sophisticated four-layer tray structure that enables simultaneous multi-point delivery capabilities. Developed by designer Chao Dong and team, this intelligent delivery system integrates advanced features including autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, voice interaction, and guest recognition capabilities, all powered by a self-developed sports chassis and sophisticated AI algorithms. The robot's construction utilizes high-strength ABS through an integrated compound molding process, ensuring durability and adaptability across various usage scenarios. Notable design elements include a 35-degree interactive screen conforming to ergonomic principles, infrared plate detection, and touch sensing functionality, while its streamlined aesthetic presents a modern interpretation of service robotics with a black-and-white color scheme and waisted modeling on both sides. The robot's operational versatility encompasses automatic food delivery, guest greeting, and promotional activities, supported by comprehensive sensor arrays and autonomous positioning systems. This innovative design, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design category in 2021, addresses contemporary challenges in the service industry by offering enhanced operational efficiency, reduced costs, and improved service consistency, while maintaining an approachable and aesthetically pleasing presence that enhances the ambient environment of its deployment locations.
