Coingaroo Interior Design
Coingaroo Interior Design is an innovative retail interior design project that reimagines the conventional cryptocurrency retail experience through a sophisticated fusion of Japanese garden aesthetics and futuristic spatial elements. Located in TMTplaza Hong Kong, this 1200-square-foot space represents a groundbreaking approach to cryptocurrency retail design, characterized by its clean, gallery-inspired aesthetic and fluid architectural elements. The design, conceptualized and executed under the direction of Raymond Ng in 2022, features distinctive architectural elements including a sculptural wavy metal panel ceiling, strategically integrated greenery, and state-of-the-art digital displays for NFT exhibitions. The space's design philosophy masterfully balances the grounded elements of traditional Japanese gardens, symbolizing the current Web2 paradigm, with forward-thinking spatial elements that represent the limitless possibilities of Web3 technology. Central to the design is a circular LED display that provides real-time cryptocurrency price updates, seamlessly integrating functional information delivery with aesthetic appeal. The interior's flowing curves, implemented throughout the ceiling features, walls, partitions, and furniture, create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere that encourages visitor engagement and exploration. This innovative approach to retail design has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing retail interior design through its unique combination of cultural elements and technological integration.
