Coexistence Residence is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of contrasting elements - human warmth and metallic titanium - in contemporary residential architecture. This sophisticated living space, designed by Yu Wen Chiu and honored with the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space Design, masterfully explores the delicate balance between natural and modern design elements. The residence features a distinctive implementation of two color tones that define separate spatial territories, while a metallic ceiling creates visual continuity throughout. At its core, the design philosophy emphasizes the seamless coexistence of medium, space, and human presence, achieved through strategic architectural elements including a large panorama window and unobstructed circulation patterns that fulfill an unrestricted open space concept. The material palette combines iron, metal titanium plate, natural stone surfaces, and wood elements, creating a sophisticated interplay of textures and reflections.
