Co Art AI Interactive Place is an innovative interactive art installation that seamlessly merges artificial intelligence with human creativity, designed by Wan Xi, Shen Zuyu, Zhao Xu, Yang Zhi and Tan Cong. This groundbreaking interface, which won the Silver A' Design Award in the Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design category, represents a significant advancement in human-computer interaction within artistic creation. The installation features a distinctive halo-shaped interactive zone measuring 1501x697x420 mm, where users can engage with the system through both physical gestures and voice commands. Utilizing sophisticated neural network algorithms, the system processes verbal input and transforms it into unique visual artworks, effectively democratizing the artistic creation process. The installation's technical architecture employs a two-pass process: first generating an image through a latent vector, then utilizing CLIP's image embedder to evaluate text-image correspondence, with continuous refinement through gradient ascent. This technological innovation addresses the contemporary challenge of creative block and imagination depletion faced by design professionals, offering a novel solution through AI-assisted artistic generation. The installation's streamlined design language and standing-height configuration create an approachable and technologically sophisticated presence, while its ability to transform visitors into artists represents a paradigm shift in exhibition experiences.
