Cloud Air Water Office
Cloud Air Water Office is an innovative interior design project completed in 2019, encompassing 1362 square meters of office space in a high-rise commercial building in Taipei. The design masterfully integrates five previously independent small offices into a cohesive workspace that metaphorically represents the characteristics of Internet connectivity through natural elements. The project's centerpiece is its distinctive pentagonal stereoscopic ceiling design, which symbolizes clouds in the sky while maintaining independent yet connected shapes. This architectural feature works in harmony with lightning grille elements that connect to the ceiling and correspond with contrasting floor lines, creating a visual representation of information flow within the IT industry. The space is thoughtfully divided into two main sections from a central reception area: an open collaborative workspace and a private area containing staff relaxation spaces and VIP reception rooms. The design philosophy revolves around the natural cycle of cloud, air, and water, expressing the perpetual flow of nature through various design elements. Materials selected for the project include woven carpets, stainless steel, glass, environmentally friendly wood grain plywood, and marble, with premium features such as Carrara visual walls in VIP spaces and diamond-cut modeling bar counters. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully balances functionality with aesthetic appeal, promoting team interaction while maintaining necessary privacy between different work groups. The design's implementation of natural elements and flow patterns creates an environment that enhances workplace efficiency while maintaining a sophisticated and modern atmosphere that reflects the dynamic nature of contemporary office culture.
