Cloth Simulation
Cloth Simulation is a digital process in 3D animation that lets designers make fabric move and fold in a way that looks real. In 3D animation, small details like how a shirt wrinkles or how a curtain sways can be made by setting up simple rules for how the cloth should act, such as how heavy it is or how much it stretches. Designers can use these rules to quickly see how different types of fabric will look in motion, which helps them choose the best look for their characters or scenes. Cloth Simulation can even help with planning how clothes fit on animated bodies by showing where fabric might bunch up or hang loosely, making the animation look more natural and believable.
