Clinic Zen Residential And Commercial

Clinic Zen Residential And Commercial

Clinic Zen Residential and Commercial is an innovative architectural and interior design project completed in 2021 in Chiayi City, Taiwan, that seamlessly integrates a professional dental clinic with residential spaces across five floors, spanning 199.4 ping. The design, created by Fabio Su and Chiou Yu-Jr, exemplifies a harmonious blend of professional functionality and domestic comfort, characterized by its clean lines and rational aesthetic that reflects the medical profession's precision while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The exterior architecture features minimalist design elements, presenting as a distinctive square structure within its urban context, while extensive windows facilitate a connection with the surrounding greenery, effectively reducing patient anxiety and enhancing the overall spatial experience. The interior design demonstrates a sophisticated approach to space planning, particularly noteworthy in its response to contemporary healthcare challenges, incorporating clear delineation between public and private zones. The project, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, utilizes a carefully curated selection of materials including logs, granite skins, arctic gray stone, and fair-faced concrete, creating a professional yet warm environment. The clinic portion emphasizes cleanliness and brightness through thoughtful lighting design and spatial arrangement, while the residential areas incorporate wood textures and refreshing tones to establish a comfortable domestic atmosphere. The design successfully overcomes the challenges of urban construction within a confined alley setting, demonstrating exceptional consideration for existing architectural structures while achieving a harmonious integration of commercial and residential functions.
