Claudio Bravo
Claudio Bravo (1936 - 2011) was an internationally renowned Chilean artist. He is widely regarded as one of the finest hyper-realist painters of the 20th century. His works are characterized by a meticulous attention to detail and composition, often working in a monochromatic color scheme. He is famous for his still lifes, portraits, and landscapes, which feature a variety of objects and settings in incredibly realistic depictions. His most iconic works include the painting The Card Players (1968), which captured the faces and hands of two workers playing cards in the same manner; The Temptation of Saint Anthony (1980), a large painting of the saint fending off a variety of creatures; and The Unmasking of the Minotaur (1983), a painting of a highly realistic Minotaur.
