City Garden Residence
City Garden Residence is an innovative architectural and interior design project spanning 992 square meters that seamlessly integrates natural living concepts with contemporary residential spaces. Designed by Shu-Ching Yu, this sophisticated development embodies the philosophy of bringing three essential elements - garden, paradise, and green spaces - into interior environments, creating a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor living. The project's distinctive approach emphasizes the coexistence of human habitation with nature, utilizing extensive view-borrowing techniques through wide windows to maximize natural light penetration and establish visual continuity with the surrounding landscape. The design features a thoughtfully curated selection of materials, including black and white stone, ceramic tiles, and dark wood, adhering to minimalist principles while maintaining aesthetic sophistication. The residence incorporates multiple functional spaces, including a gym, inclusive playground, children's play room, multi-functional activity center, chess room, and home classroom, all designed with careful attention to visibility and spatial flow. A notable feature is the innovative children's play area, featuring a hot air balloon-style slide and sky-themed ceiling decorations, demonstrating the designer's commitment to creating engaging, safe, and imaginative spaces. The project, winner of the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies sustainable design practices through its efficient use of natural lighting and thoughtful integration with the environment, scheduled for completion in August 2024 in Taiwan.
