Cinema Atelier Entertainment is an innovative interior design concept that reimagines the traditional cinema experience by creating a multifunctional creative space that celebrates both film culture and community engagement. Located within a district mall in a mixed residential and industrial neighborhood, this architectural masterpiece spans approximately 1040 square meters and houses four cinema screens with a total seating capacity of 422. The design philosophy draws inspiration from the creative foundation of moviemaking and the concept of an atelier as a creative breeding ground, seamlessly integrating contemporary features with industrial heritage elements. The space is characterized by its open-plan foyer featuring intersecting dialogues of directional light accents and dissecting walls, creating a dynamic environment that pays homage to traditional studio production while embracing modern functionality. The design incorporates raw materials and specialized light fixtures that evoke memories of classic film production, while innovative cine-light bars guide visitors through fragmented spaces of interest. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project, recognized in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in spatial planning, material selection, and cultural integration. The design process was distinctly community-driven, focusing on creating a strong sense of belonging through the careful extraction of local elements and implementation of agile lifestyle considerations. The project's development, which took place from December 2017 to January 2019, represents a significant advancement in entertainment venue design, offering flexibility for various events including art exhibitions, forums, and premiere gatherings, while maintaining a strong connection to local heritage through thoughtful material selection and spatial arrangement.
