Cifi Yst Cyf Sales Center
Cifi Yst Cyf Sales Center is an innovative dual-purpose architectural interior design project that exemplifies the seamless integration of commercial and educational spaces, initially serving as a sales office before transitioning into a kindergarten facility. Located in Qingdao, Shandong, this 1,200-square-meter space showcases a sophisticated design approach that prioritizes both functionality and aesthetic appeal, earning recognition with a Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The design, conceived by architect Weimo Feng, introduces a forest tribe concept that transcends traditional amusement park aesthetics, creating a natural, warm environment conducive to childhood development and exploration. The interior architecture features interconnected forest cabin-like cubes, characterized by log-colored tones and strategic green accents that represent vitality, while windows of varying dimensions create dynamic spatial rhythms. The design employs a thoughtful material palette including terrazzo, wood grain sound-absorbing panels, fabric soft packages, and PVC flooring, all carefully selected to ensure safety while promoting environmental exploration and creative stimulation. The space incorporates low-saturated forest colors, pure white safety stairs for interactive play, and geometric interpretations of flora and fauna, resulting in a harmonious blend of natural elements and architectural innovation. This transformative design successfully addresses the dual-purpose challenge by creating versatile, multifunctional spaces that support both commercial and educational objectives while maintaining a strong focus on safety, creativity, and childhood development.
