Chongqing Villa Design Residence

Chongqing Villa Design Residence

Chongqing Villa Design Residence is an exemplary architectural achievement that masterfully integrates Oriental traditional culture with contemporary design sensibilities, situated in Chongqing, China. Completed in October 2017, this 368-square-meter residential project demonstrates a sophisticated approach to modern living while preserving Chinese cultural elements. The design philosophy centers on creating harmony between nature and human spirit, a concept deeply rooted in Chinese intellectual tradition. The residence features a thoughtfully planned vertical layout, with each floor serving distinct purposes: a basement level housing an independent tea room with dramatic high ceilings for family gatherings, a first floor featuring a serene living room with carefully curated tones, and a third floor accommodating an elegant master bedroom. The material palette combines premium elements including Lucifer grey stone, Eurasian wood grain stone, Black Marquina marble, walnut wood veneer, and brushed bronze stainless steel, creating a refined aesthetic throughout. The project's innovative approach to spatial organization is particularly evident in its staircase design, which serves as a unifying element connecting different levels while maintaining the flow of space. Custom artisan wallpaper and carefully selected abstract paintings contribute to the overall sophisticated atmosphere. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2019, exemplifies excellence in contemporary residential design through its thoughtful integration of traditional elements with modern functionality, creating spaces that promote both physical comfort and spiritual well-being.
