Chongqing Bowchuang Store is an innovative architectural and interior design project that revolutionizes the traditional concept of automotive retail spaces in Chongqing, China. This 25,000-square-meter facility transcends the conventional boundaries of a 4S automotive store by seamlessly integrating recreational spaces, social zones, natural landscapes, and artistic elements into its design framework. The project, completed in November 2023, draws profound inspiration from Chongqing's distinctive urban culture and natural topography, incorporating elements such as the city's characteristic foggy atmosphere, cyberpunk-inspired traffic flow planning, and karst landform features. The interior design employs environmentally conscious materials, including polymer clay, lightweight PU faux stone siding panels, and ultra-thin flexible stone veneer, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability while minimizing natural stone usage. The facility's innovative layout features an atrium with integrated lift systems and staircases, inspired by the architectural style of Hongyadong, facilitating efficient multi-floor access and enhanced space utilization. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, distinguishes itself through its comprehensive approach to customer experience, incorporating diverse functional zones for vehicle display, relaxation, and social interaction.
