Chess-Gaming Space Law Firm Office is an innovative interior design project that masterfully integrates the strategic elements of chess into a sophisticated legal workspace, spanning 1600 square meters with dimensions of 41700mm x 392600mm x 3000mm. The design concept draws profound inspiration from Taoist philosophy, embodying the delicate balance between rigid legal frameworks and creative spatial expression. The interior architecture features a striking reception lobby that metaphorically represents a chessboard through its sophisticated use of stainless-steel ceiling and matrix-arranged strip lighting, creating a powerful visual narrative that extends from floor to ceiling. The space incorporates an intricate interplay of materials, including blue emery art glass walls, natural gray stone, and smooth stainless steel plates, all harmoniously combined to create distinct functional zones while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic throughout. The conference areas demonstrate particular innovation through their adaptable configuration systems, allowing for flexible space utilization while maintaining the chess-inspired theme through interlacing ceiling designs and black-and-white circular lighting fixtures. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project, created by designer Tacco Lee and team, exemplifies excellence in interior space design through its thoughtful integration of leisure areas featuring gridded aluminum ceiling systems and showcase walls, while the strategic use of highly-saturated red and blue color accents symbolizes the dynamic interplay between prudence and vitality, competition and cooperation.
