Cerulean Color

Cerulean Color is a deep and vivid blue hue usually synonymous with a 460nm wavelength on the visible spectrum. The color is perceptible when light is refracted through a prism and is seen as a solid blue. Physically, Cerulean Color is a phenomenon that occurs when the frequency of light in a given band of the visible spectrum is absorbed by the molecules in the air or other ambience, and then re-emitted in a different direction. This alteration from its native wavelength is caused when the light meets an obstacle and is partially reflected, partially absorbed, and partially transmitted. This change in the light's frequency is referred to as scattering, and is why Cerulean Color is perceived as a sky blue.
