Centre Of Art Residential Space
Centre of Art Residential Space is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully balances artistic display requirements with functional living spaces, completed in September 2019 in Taipei, Taiwan. This 100-square-meter residential space showcases a sophisticated approach to contemporary living through its young, diverse, and minimalist aesthetic sensibilities. The design's distinctive features include strategically placed herringbone flooring in the entryway, innovative iron-pitched roof windows, and a multifunctional screen that doubles as a home bar, demonstrating exceptional spatial planning and attention to detail. The project employs a unified design language through consistent color-tone coating on ceilings and walls, harmonized wood grain elements throughout the space, and system particle boards for walls, cabinets, and decorative panels. Environmental consciousness is evident in the material selection, which adheres to EEWH green building certification standards, while construction processes were optimized to minimize environmental impact. The lighting design serves as a crucial element, utilizing varying color temperatures and thoughtfully positioned ceiling fixtures to enhance spatial layering and visual appeal. This innovative residential project, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies how contemporary interior design can successfully merge artistic expression with practical living spaces while maintaining a commitment to sustainability and user well-being.
