Cai Jia Model Room
Cai Jia Model Room is an exemplary interior design project that masterfully embodies the new Shanghai design style, completed in Chongqing, China in 2019. This 150-square-meter residential space showcases a sophisticated fusion of Victorian design elements with contemporary methodologies, creating an environment that caters to the aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs of modern urban dwellers. The design's distinctive approach features a predominant blue color palette, harmoniously integrated with carefully selected furnishings and artistic elements that emphasize natural harmony and refined elegance. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to environmental consciousness through the utilization of eco-friendly materials, particularly in its paint selections. Notable for its innovative interpretation of luxury living spaces, the interior arrangement employs Victorian design lines reimagined through a modern lens, achieving a delicate balance between formal beauty and practical functionality. The space planning prioritizes comfort and visual appeal, incorporating artistic decorative elements that contribute to a bright, harmonious atmosphere. This design excellence was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to contemporary residential interior design. The project's success lies in its ability to create a sophisticated living environment that resonates with the evolving preferences of urban residents while maintaining a strong connection to aesthetic refinement and practical livability.
