Cadaques Outdoor Lighting
Cadaques Outdoor Lighting is an innovative outdoor luminaire that combines the functionality of a spacer and light washer, distinguished by its sophisticated design inspired by the Mediterranean coastal village of Cadaqués in Catalonia. Developed between July 2018 and August 2019 in Barcelona, this architectural lighting solution represents a significant advancement in outdoor illumination technology, featuring a unique shade constructed from VERTISOL fabric, a specialized outdoor material with International Maritime Organization (IMO) certification that ensures exceptional resilience against harsh environmental conditions. The luminaire's robust construction incorporates aluminum injection manufacturing techniques and boasts an IP65 protection rating, providing comprehensive defense against both solid particles and liquid infiltration. The design's technical specifications include LED technology with 18W 3000K illumination, operating on 100-240V with a Class II rating, and measuring 645x515x810 mm. The aesthetic and functional elements draw inspiration from traditional beach loungers, resulting in a design that harmoniously integrates with coastal outdoor spaces while maintaining high performance standards. This innovative lighting solution, recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to environmental durability and aesthetic refinement, making it particularly suitable for maritime and coastal applications where standard lighting fixtures might fail to perform adequately under challenging weather conditions.
