C House Residential

C House Residential

C House Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated residential space planning for retired couples, masterfully executed within a 105-square-meter area in Taipei City, Taiwan. The design demonstrates exceptional consideration for both shared and private spaces, incorporating a thoughtful balance between functionality and aesthetic refinement. The interior architecture seamlessly integrates existing elements, notably preserving a grey sofa from the owners' previous residence, while introducing contemporary design elements that create a harmonious living environment. The space is characterized by its innovative lighting design, which utilizes natural daylight and strategically placed linear light bars, pendant lamps, and floor lighting to create varying atmospheric conditions throughout the day. The material palette combines dark and light-colored woods with light-colored stone, establishing spatial stability while maintaining visual coherence with the flooring. A particularly noteworthy feature is the open bookcase design, which not only provides practical accessibility but also contributes to the space's cultural atmosphere. The kitchen area has been specifically designed to facilitate social interaction during meal preparation, while maintaining functionality. The project, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases excellence in circulation planning, material selection, and lighting design, demonstrating how thoughtful interior architecture can enhance the quality of daily living for its occupants.
