C Future City Experience Center Experience Center

C Future City Experience Center Experience Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of cultural heritage with modern urban development in Shenzhen, China. This sophisticated multi-purpose space, which garnered the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a thoughtful transformation of a traditional fishing village narrative into a contemporary experiential destination. The design philosophy draws profound inspiration from the area's maritime heritage, incorporating elements that pay homage to the historical fishing village while embracing modern architectural principles. The space features a distinctive sunken design that creates dynamic viewing perspectives of courtyards, sky, and water features, reminiscent of traditional Chinese classical gardens. The interior showcases an artful blend of natural materials including sandstone, granite, and ash wood, complemented by artistic installations such as ship-shaped solid wood tables and wave-inspired white beading devices that echo the fishing net motif. The experience center's sophisticated spatial planning incorporates multiple functional zones, enhanced by the strategic placement of circular openings that frame natural elements, creating a seamless dialogue between artificial structures and nature. The integration of pine, bamboo, stone, and water pools throughout the three-story space adds vital dynamism while reinforcing the oriental design philosophy. Initially conceived as a sales office with future adaptation into residential commercial facilities, this award-winning design demonstrates exceptional versatility in its spatial programming and stands as a testament to innovative interior space design that bridges cultural heritage with contemporary urban living.
