C C Moment Restaurant
C C Moment Restaurant is an innovative dining establishment that exemplifies the sophisticated integration of thematic design elements centered around the symbolism of candlelight. Located in Shenzhen, China, this 449-square-meter restaurant masterfully incorporates the metaphorical and physical properties of candles to create an atmospheric dining environment. The design philosophy revolves around the profound symbolism of candles as representations of life, warmth, and celebration, manifested through strategically placed candle-like lighting fixtures throughout the space. These 1.5-meter-tall illuminated elements serve multiple functions: some are vertically mounted on the floor to create intimate dining zones, others are suspended inverted from the ceiling, while additional fixtures project horizontally from walls, collectively creating a multidimensional lighting experience. The restaurant's sophisticated material palette includes laminated glass, wire glass, marble, cement sand brick, stainless steel, and Formica plastic laminate, all carefully selected to enhance the ambient lighting effects. The floor features an intricate patchwork of marble and tiles in varying grey tones, deliberately designed to mimic the dancing shadows cast by candlelight. The establishment includes two adaptable function rooms with versatile furniture arrangements, allowing for customizable configurations to accommodate various event themes. This innovative design approach, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully overcomes the technical challenges of achieving optimal illumination levels while maintaining the intimate atmosphere of candlelight.
