Bras
Bras are undergarments designed to provide support and shape to a person's breasts. They consist of two cups that are held in place by straps that go over the shoulders and a band that goes around the torso. The cups are typically made of fabric and may have padding or underwire to enhance or lift the breasts. Bras come in a variety of styles, including full coverage, balconette, push-up, and sports bras, among others. The history of bras can be traced back to ancient Greece, where women used a band of cloth to support their breasts. However, it wasn't until the 19th century that the modern bra was developed. In the early 1900s, the corset was the primary undergarment worn by women, but it was uncomfortable and restrictive. The bra was introduced as a more comfortable alternative, and it quickly gained popularity. Today, bras are an essential part of many women's wardrobes. They not only provide support and shape but also help to improve posture and prevent back pain. Bras are available in a wide range of sizes to accommodate different body types, and many brands offer specialty bras for women who have undergone mastectomies or other breast surgeries.
