Blueprinting
Blueprinting in process design means making a simple map that shows every step in a service or production process, including what happens in the background and what the user sees. Designers use blueprinting to see how each part connects, spot where things can be better, and make sure the process runs smoothly from start to finish. This map can show timing, people involved, and tools used at each step, which helps teams work together and fix problems before they happen. Blueprinting can be updated easily, so teams can change steps or add new ideas as the project grows.
process mapping, service design, workflow visualization, touchpoints, process improvement, user journey
