Ben Johnson
Ben Johnson is a renowned Canadian sprinter who was born on December 30, 1961, in Falmouth, Jamaica. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest sprinters of all time, having set world records and won numerous Olympic and World Championship medals throughout his career. Johnson began his athletic career as a high jumper before transitioning to sprinting, where he quickly rose to prominence. Johnson's most notable achievement came at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, where he won the gold medal in the 100-meter dash with a world-record time of 9.79 seconds. However, his victory was short-lived as he was later stripped of his medal after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs. This incident sparked a global conversation about the use of performance-enhancing drugs in sports and led to increased drug testing and regulation. Despite the controversy surrounding his career, Johnson's athletic achievements remain impressive. He won a total of five Olympic medals, including two golds, and set multiple world records throughout his career. He was also known for his explosive speed and powerful running style, which made him a formidable competitor on the track.

Ben Johnson
Ben Johnson is one of Britain's leading contemporary artists, whose work has been exhibited across Europe and North America. His paintings, prints and collages are renowned for their bold use of color, texture and geometric patterning, often reflecting the urban landscape. Notable works by the artist include 'Towers', an abstract oil painting depicting a cluster of many-layered towers, and 'Divided City', a photographic montage that references Manchester's industrial history. Johnson's practice is heavily influenced by geometric abstraction and minimalism, with a particular focus on juxtaposing plastic objects in order to create optical illusions. He has also been commissioned to design installations for several leading galleries and museums, including London's Tate Modern and the Walker Art Centre in Minneapolis.
